Sharnelle Denise Patterson

Sharnelle Patterson is a dancer, mental health advocate, artist manager, and founder of Lucid Serenity and Lucid’s Records—a visionary leader merging movement, mindfulness, and music to empower and heal. With a background in behavioral science, applied psychology, and rehabilitative therapy, Sharnelle has dedicated her life to helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, release trauma, and build confidence through movement.

As the creator of Mindful Twerking (MTW), Sharnelle bridges ancestral movement with modern evidence-based behavioral practices, offering a revolutionary approach to self-expression and healing. She also runs the Pass the Mic Artist Incubator Program, guiding emerging artists through industry education, branding, and collaborative album production.
Despite facing schizoaffective disorder, homelessness, and systemic injustices, Sharnelle has continued to create, inspire, and lead with resilience. Through Lucid Records, she is now building a platform for artists to develop, thrive, and take control of their careers.

Sharnelle is a Legacy Maker, standing for truth, transformation, and cultural reconnection. Her work is not just about art—it’s about breaking cycles, starting ripples of change, and leaving a lasting impact on the world.
