Jim Gano has long sought to make a difference in people's lives. Whether it was saving lives working on a rescue squad when he was younger or improving the lives of special needs students that work in his business, or mentoring fellow business owners on how they can become more efficient and profitable, Gano lives by the code "Others before self" every day. In response to a request from a client he developed his "Recognize, Reward and Retain" program to increase the average tenure of his client's employees and it worked, saving them both time and money. Gano is quick to lend a hand to organizations he believes in that are doing the right things for their communities. Trying to put a label on Gano is difficult, he is a business owner, business consultant, mentor, freelance announcer, author and so much more. Surviving the COVID shutdown which crippled his industry and business for two years just made him come back more determined to succeed. A recent cancer diagnosis and treatment may have set him back, but couldn’t stop him, as he puts it he’s not a cancer survivor, but a thriver, because as he says “I’m Not Done Yet.”
